Women ROCC! (Reaching Out Against Cervical Cancer) is a social marketing project that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) funded from 2003-2008.

Women ROCC! is working to reach young women through colleges and universities.  We have partnered with:

to spread the word about cervical health among college students, their friends and family members.

With a focus on African American women and Latinas, the project aims to close the current health disparities gap as it relates to cervical cancer.  Using culturally-appropriate cervical health messages and interventions, the project seeks to raise awareness about HPV infection and health care issues, which contribute to the higher rates of cervical cancer among these groups.

Women ROCC! (Reaching Out Against Cervical Cancer) is supported by Cooperative Agreement number U58/CCU323070-05 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The project’s activities are solely the responsibility of the grantees and do not necessarily represent official activities of the CDC.
